　　论文摘要： There exists a large volume of literature evaluating the mortgage prepayment risk based on the U.S. experience over the past decades. This paper studies the prepayment behavior of China’s mortgage borrowers by using a loan-level data set from a national commercial bank in China. Findings show that non-financial factors play a critical role in determining the prepayment risk. Another implication is that policy makers need to be aware that prepayment risk is different in different segmentations.
