1. The aims of the Forum:
Along with the outbreak and second wave of outbreak of the epidemics across the world, the global industrial chain and supply chain has been shocked, which has been seriously impacting the global trade and investment. Many countries re-examine the international trade, investment from the perspectives of national economic security, considering to implement the relocation of industrial chain back to native-land or cast a scattered layout of industrial chain across more countries, consciously reducing their dependence of production, trade and investment on China.
In such a circumstance when the world economic and social order has been troubled by the new Covid-19 outbreaks, we have to pursue for more effective global public health cooperation and have to better promote the innovation of the SMEs through the BRI platform.
Thus, we are going to organize this online forum, inviting professors from the member universities of BRI RESEARCH ALLIANCE FOR INNOVATION & COOPERATION, to discuss the international collaborations of public health and SMEs innovation/development.
2. The theme and subjects of the Forum:
Theme: The Forum on Global Cooperation of Public Health and SMEs Innovation and Development within the BRI
Subjects include but not limited to the follows:
①Public health crisis and the multinational cooperation within the BRI
②The growth opportunities of World economy brought about by China’s effective containment of the new Covid-19 and the production recovery
③Scattered layout of the industrial chain and global challenges/opportunities for SMEs
④The pandemics crises in Europe and North America, and the possible path for SMEs’ shifting the crises to potential opportunities
